I'm putting this here mostly because my capacious memory is also capricious as to when it will vomit up the information I need. Besides, if information is external to me, I am more likely to pay attention to it. Input > output is an issue I will have to work on.
1. That detached from the world, vaguely grouchy feeling? Thirst. 90% of the time or better. Sit the hell down and drink something.
The fact that you often feel that way after arriving someplace? Does not have to do with your reactions to traffic and navigation. Just because stepmom keeps bottles of water in the car and is crazy does not mean that having something to drink on a drive longer than 20 min. is crazy.
2. Do not forget this: iTunes was off for so long because having both it and Firefox running on the old computer caused a system crash. That feeling when you realized that new computer was running Firefox and therefore old computer could become a dedicated jukebox? The way all your timey-wimey spaghetti code wad of thoughts suddenly began falling into a crystallized structure and you gained spoons back?
The radio adds to your cope when driving. Imagine what it can do when you're not doing something that stressful. You do not need background noise. The TV is not sufficient. Music is life; are you alive?
