Tattoo...
OK, so just watched 28 weeks later and really am proper disturbed by the whole infected wife and Carlisles scene in the isolation room.
On a lighter note I have almost almost come to a conclusion and final design for my new tattoo. It shall be:
A phoenix with wings outstretched to either side overlaid over a spiral of fire and water.
(fire for the rising from the ashes reference, the water to balance out the fire element and because I have seen some alchemical reference illustrations with the phoenix cradling water and fire in its wings)
The phoenix will fit in with plinys description of one- crested head, gold eagle like head, purple body, azure/ sky blue tail. Where it differs fromt this description is that it will be a squatter bodied bird than a heron like shape- I didn't like the long legged look.
It is gonna go on my left arm and take up the top part.
I am still tempted by the illustration from the Watchman comic, but I think I want more of my stuff on me first :D
