Back from quite the weekend. On Saturday I and Alex (friend and photographer from the Bay City Times) tagged along with Ryan down to Garden City for his cousin's graduation party. It was pretty nice to meet the family I haven't met of his. They're really nice people. After staying a good while, the three of us traveled down to Sandusky, Ohio, to visit our friend Luke, who interned at the Times a little while ago. He let us crash at his place and then tagged along with us to Cedar Point on Sunday. He lives about 5 minutes away, so it was very convenient.
Cedar Point was, as always, amazing and tons of fun. You just can't get sick of those roller coasters. The new one, The Maverick, was really cool. It was fast and twisty and just plain intense. Super fun. Here's a story for ya, however. We went on the Top Thrill Dragster once it opened up. As Ryan and I were riding it and were right at the very top, something small and metallic hits my forehead. I was like "Ow! Wtf?!" Well two seconds later when we got off the ride I had a nice bruise and a small cut on my forehead. Nice huh? And after everything with amusement park rides that has been going on lately. But whatever, we had a great time and were wiped out by the time we left and headed back to Bay City. Fun, fun times!
The 1st issue of The Interlude Magazine that I'm in came out on Friday! It's pretty exciting to see all my articles in full layout and stuff. If you are interested in reading some of it and aren't able to get the magazine, you can see and read it at: http://www.interludemag.com
Go look! The two articles in PDF form on the site are mine!
Anyhoo, I'm gonna take my Slurpee and get off this computer. I need to finish reading Breakfast of Champions, even though I'm not sure I want to. See ya guys!
