Sunday evening ...
... my son has been gone since Thursday afternoon. He went to stay with my parents after summer Latchkey camp and go with my dad to the deer lease to do some work. Then as my dad was coming home, he dropped them off with my MIL. I've been a lil' leary about letting my son go over there, simply because my SIL and 2 nieces are living with her and my step-FIL ... but my SIL's hubby lives there too (my BIL). As you might have guessed, I really don't like him that much. Nevertheless, I let him go. I don't want to neglect my MIL from seeing my son because of that SOB. I told MIL to keep an eye on him and if he steps one hair outta line towards my son to call us, we'll have my hubby on the way over there in a heartbeat ... along with a few brothers.
I was talking to my son earlier today, they were getting ready to go to the beach. Fun! I talked to my MIL yesterday and she said they were going to go yesterday, but some didn't want to go and neither did my son, which for some reason everyone not wanting to go pissed off my SOB of a BIL. When talking with my son I asked if everything was going ok. He said yeah and he sounded a little 'off' when he said it. I asked him what was wrong, he said that my BIL started fighting with someone and I quickly cut him off. I didn't want him to say anything in front of my BIL that would upset him. BIL is bi-polar, which doesn't excuse anything, but I didn't want to start a commotion over the phone. I know what my BIL is thinking though. Why is my son there? In my honest opinion ... he has every right to be there just as much as my BIL's bubbly son has to be there.
So this afternoon I'm here, and on Facebook and popping back and forth between games and my group on Yuku. I really have too much time invested in the internet. I tried getting on LJ from work, but for some reason, the lay out was all jacked up. Must be something to do with the work settings, because I tried opening up on both IE and FF browsers and they were both the same. Maybe I shouldn't be getting on at work ... HA!
