YAY!
I haven't updated since "The Great Flood" last week, so this is going to be a really long update.
WED: Wed. night, I managed to get the flood under control after I found the water shut off valve thingy in the ceiling. Everything is still kind of wet, but it should be ok.
THURS: Thurs. night we had the kick-off jambouree for the football season. It turned out to be sort of like a mini fall festival. (I got to make the balloon arch thingy at the entrance!) All the clubs had booths and fund raisers and stuff. I had my big moment with the chorus when we sang the national anthem, which I've been told was very good. So I guess maybe I CAN fit in with the chorus crowd. Well anyway, I spent most of my time painting faces for NAHS, but toward the end I got to go see the other booths. The IB program had this awesome fund raiser going, where you could pay to hit a car with a sledge hammer! It was sooo cool! I ended up doing that before I left. The car that they were using looked just like anyother old car. It wouldn't have looked too bad if it had had a new paint job. I guess part of it was because they had spray painted South Gwinnett's colors all over the car and put stick people in the seats.By the time that I left around 8, three of the doors were gone, both bumpers had been taken off, and the roof had been caved in. The IB people decided that if you could knock soething off the car, you could keep it. It was so much FUN!! On a sad note though, I went to go visit Ceige at work but he had already left. :-(
FRI: Fri. was just another boring day so there really isn't anything to say about it.
SAT: Sat. was soo much fun! My mom just randomly decided that she wanted to get her nails done. So she and I went and had full pedicures and manicures! SO COOL! After that we went to a play call "Smoke On The Mountain" with the choir. It was about a little country baptist church. I laughed so hard through that whole thing, but one of the most memorable moments was when one of the characters said something that reminded us all of Ceige. "But mama, I'm not studying to be a minister, I'm gonna be a preacher!" LOL! Sorry Ceige, I just had to put that in. :-D Moving on! After the play, my mom and I went to Khols and then met up with Ceige for dinner before we went to Justin and Robin's house for movie night. We ended up watching "Big Fish" and sometime while we were watching the movie, someone rolled Justin's house. We all thought it was the seniors, but they claimed that they didn't know anything. So we went and rolled the Tolbert's house. Too bad we got caught. It was so much FUN though.
SUN: Sun. was pretty normal too, except for going dress shopping with Tristan, Julie, and Jen. I still haven't found anything that I like yet. But we got to go to Steak 'n Shake for dinner and we skipped choir. (Shhh! DON'T TELL!)
MON: I got up at 5:30 today so that I could be at school by 7:20 for ensemble practice and the Mr.Grizzle wasn't even there until 10 till 8. And the He left at 8. GRRRR!!! I sacreficed my sleep for nothing! But other than that, my day has been pleasant. OH! I have this cool survey thingy that Ceige sent me and I'm going to post it below.
