Jack Daniel's For the Win!
So Da's left for China already, should be there already. It'll be different not having him here, but he'll hopefully have an internet connection over there, so he'll be able to play WoW hopefully. I'll probably play my mage gnome more then. Get onto Vent and see what's going on every now and then.
But I won't be able to get onto WoW for a couple days or so.. Omar's computer has been compromised. I turned it on today to find that Norton had discovered a trojan.. Now that I think of it, it might have been good to disconnect the internet.. Anyways, Norton was incapable of actually removing the virus, because it's an idiot, so I decided to bring Prevx into the fight. Downloaded it with no problems, and began running the system scan that it does. It cataloges the hard drive to make it faster to scan, and removes any problems along the way. It had just finished around 80% of the hard drive, when the computer froze. Perhaps it was a reaction from the trojan, but Prevx stopped responding, and I couldn't get the task manager up, nothing would work. I guess it wasn't the best thing to do, but I decided to reboot in safemode.. But when I tried, the computer would not get farther than loading some drives, and then it would restart. It's basically in a loop now, where it brings up the startup options screen that lets you choose to open in safe mode or regular, and it never gets past loading. I guess the only thing to do is to reformat the hard drive, which the computer needed anyways. The drive hadn't been cleaned in forever, and there was just too much muck that Omar had collected for the computer to be good.. Oh well. No WoW for a while..
Went to the beach this weekend with my family. It was for Mother's day. I wasn't too interested in heading over there though, and I didn't pack anything at all. We ate really well though, that was good. I noticed that my dad displayed a bit more affection than he usually does. They walked down the beach together, holding hands at one point. I don't know what goes on in their bedroom, but I know he doesn't often show anything publicly, maybe a kiss in the morning and in the afternoon. Sharra called me while we were over there though, it was nice talking to her since I didn't get any other interaction with her until Sunday night. She read me another story, that was cool.
Friday night we went to Angel's sister's house to play WoW and drink. We went and got a bottle of Jack Daniels and some double shot glasses. Unfortunately, her house is home to two tiny dogs, one a Chihuahua, one a retarded defect of some species I think, and they have shat up the place. Angel wanted to invite some people over as well, so he wanted to clean up the living room so we could chill there. Everyone else was pretty much opposed to this though, because it wasn't our problem. I helped a little, but it was really too much work to do without the proper materials. We would have had pick up all the shit as well as mop the floor to make sure the smell didn't stick and the pee was properly removed. Even then there would still be a smell in the air.. Angel was adamant about getting the room cleaned up though, he get's one tracked sometimes as well. Eventually we were able to convince him otherwise, and we moved a table outside, brought out Angel's comp as well with his speakers so we could have some music.
So the drinking began! Ha, we each had about 5 double shots (Angel I think only had 4) of whiskey. Man, that stuff packed a whallop. At one point I accidentally didn't down the shot in one gulp, that was pretty painful. I think I had a higher alchohol tollerance than Angel, Bob and Da though, because I wasn't that drunk in the end. But we got into a fight, that was fun. I was surprised it didn't hurt as much whenever I got tackled or whatever, it was crazy. We kinda pretended we were our WoW characters, made silly poses and such.. Bob was yelling about how he couldn't move around he was so drunk.
I went into the house to get onto WoW, level some and see if Sharra had got back from the concert. Da and Bob came in and got onto their Ventrillo channel and started talking to whomever was there about how WoW fulfilled their life or something. I actually didn't pay much attention to them, my mind wasn't that great at focusing at the time. But I think Da got rid of his anxiety over WoW.. He had been talking about how WoW wasn't fun anymore, I think he might be better about it now though.
So we might actually do that more often. At least, I know they were talking about drinking again when Da got back, that'll be fun. I notice that I've been writing alot more in my posts recently.. I think I may try to make them more conscise again.
