Don't rush The Monk

So the Superbowl was yesterday. Besides eating a really good dinner which consisted of fish and shrimp, home made, during the halftime show, I watched pretty much just the ending of the game.
Sunday morning, I spoke a bit about it in my last post, but that was just about mass. It was Scout Sunday, and we processed into church and sat together in uniform because of this. Then afterwards we were outside of the main church doors and sold BBQ tickets. I didn't do that much selling actually, just stood around and hung out with Patrick and Patrick. We went and got pizzas for the scouts who were there, had fun just chilling and discussed a bit of the politics that's going around in the church.
Picked up Da around 3:00 or 4:00, watched Monk for awhile. That's such a hilarious series, something worth watching whenever it comes on. My parents let Da eat with us, and afterwards we went over to Hastings and met up with Patrick (Simpson) and chilled there for awhile before heading over to this art shop that doubles as a bar and coffee shop thingie. It was really nice, and reminded me somewhat of what Valley Roast would look like if we ever made a the coffee shop. Although it would be sans art, more of a techie place. I tried a cig while over there. It's a big thing for me 'cause I never intended on actually smoking cigarettes. But Patrick had them, so I took two drags from it, not very strong drags. I didn't like it, the Marlboros. They had a bad aftertaste to them. Bleh, I'll stik to weed whenever I do it.
