It doesn't seem fair most of the time. As if every time something bad can happen it does for Sharra. At least at her work.. It's like she is the designated position filler for whenever anyone can't make it to drive through. She had to fill in for that guy who quit the other week, which she had to do drive through, and now she's got to close for drive through again since someone called in sick today. Don't see why no one else could have filled that position.. So much bullshit. Burgerville is not a good place for her. But it's so close to her leaving that it's not worth it to find a different job, for just two months.
It's not so much that Burgerville is not a good place for her, I think, but that the people who go eat there can be such assholes, especially through drive through. There's something wrong with people who think that they can dehumanize people who work in fast food. It's not the person taking order's fault that their order isn't to the exact specifications that you want, or that it took 5 minutes more than you had a temper to hold for. Fast food isn't going to be fast food if you get it from someplace that doesnt' already have their food sitting luke warm under a light bulb waiting for you. And if you see that there's a long drive through line, why don't you go inside because it's actually going to be faster, and you won't waste gas. Just too much a lack of thought on their part.
I wish Sharra were closer, so that I could actually comfort her from besides a phone.
