worst. movie. EVAR. worse, even, than gigli (which one of my friends made me sit through two weeks ago). the casting was all wrong. the acting (if you can call it that) was forced/contrived at best, and what the bloody fucking hell was up with donald sutherland's "teehee! (3 fingers covering the corner of the mouth) you really do love him, don't you? teehee!" what are you, a 13 year old SCHOOLGIRL?!? who wrote this crap? and why did you people think it would be a good idea to "act" in it???? and to top it all off, WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO THE PART OF THE STORY THAT WAS IN THE BOOK?!?
this movie has quite possibly ruined the book entirely for me. and it was my absolute favourite. God only knows how many times i've read it. what's that? do i think i could do a better job? hell yes. a monkey could do a better job writing it and a parrot could do a better job directing it. if i had to've paid for it, i would have demanded my money back.
