Hoo. What a day.
I started off with a bang when I found that I'd lost 2 more lbs. (yippee) and then got hit on by an 80 year old man at the gas station (what?) Yeah, an 80 year old man. He comes up to me while I'm filling my tank and talking on my cell phone, and he has this happy look on his face, and says something to me. I didn't really hear, so I smiled and kept talking to Leslie. Then my mom, at the next pump, says "That old man just said you were really beautiful" and I'm like eeeeeeeeeeew! Oh well, old people think they can hit on girls and be cute. I don't think it's cute.
So then the mellies went bra shopping, but we found a whole heap of nothing. Then we went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory w/ Loren, Scott and Fergie. I liked it, but it sure started off slow. (Let's keep on truckin'!) *giggle* So yeah, I took Michelle home so she could go have dinner with her dad, making me late to meet the others at Cafe Monata. Everyone left when I got there, which made me a little peeved and very sad. :( However, Melly and I went to Somerset and Kohls together (I found this sexy green dress that's too much moolah for h/c, but looked great) and bought nothing. It was a rocking good time. We ate dinner and played cards and mi casa and then I took her home.
Oh! I totally forgot! While we were at a red light on the way to my house, we were complaining at how far up the car next to me was, so I couldn't see to turn right on red. When the back window rolled down, I realized they'd scooted up so the guy in the back could talk to us. So he leans out and says "Hey, can you guys tell me how to get to Big Beaver and 69?" Melly and I sit wondering if there is such a thing. Upon realizing there indeed is not, I ignore him. He sarcastically retorts, "Thank you", and, as I accellerate and turn the corner, shouts "I LOVE YOU!" It was weird. We spent a long time trying to think of what a good come-back would have been, and came up with this:
"Can you tell me how to get to big beaver and sixty-nine?"
"Why don't you give me your number and I'll tell you later?"
"Sure"
"Yeah, Like I'd ever call you!" *drive away*
It's not the greatest, but we're not the cleverest.
I don't get hit on slash joked with in that manner very often, let alone twice in one day. Plus, Loren said I looked cute. Pretty good day, eh? ;-)
I'm excited for tomorrow, because, after band, Mo is sleeping over. We're watching Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, then she comes with my family to Cedar Point for 3 days! That'll be fun. Get this: I'm actually going to be a good little horn student and bring my mouthpiece! My teacher says I should, and I know that, if I don't, my lips will surely die. (and who wants that?)
