I've noticed a change in my attitude towards politics in the US and hope something similar is happening in my peers, also. For the first time in my life I'm interested in what the President (elect) is going to do. I care about who Obama chooses to be on his Economic Panel. I remember the name Rahm Emanuel (Obama's pick for Chief of Staff) and more than that, I care enough to look into his political leanings. I suppose part of this is that, for the first time, someone I voted for got elected and now I feel as though I have somewhat of a personal stake in what he does.
