My new feelings concering Land of Paws: Fuck them.
They filled the position with someone else. But that's okay because I had my first day working at Ace Hardware as a cashier and it's pretty awesome. There's not a lot to do and we're allowed to bring books/ text people when the managers aren't around. There isn't even really a dress code...two of the other cashiers were wearing flip flops and jeans and t-shirts are considered totally okay attire. It's also similar enough to Michael's register system that I picked up on pretty much everything after one or two tries which impressed people, especially the girl who was training me since she hadn't been told I was coming. I had to ask for help a few times but didn't have any major problems. Today was a good day.
Michaels tomorrow from 12-7 which isn't bad.
