There was a discussion in one of my classes the other day, about media advertising, an ad popped up on screen of two men kissing in a sailor setting- for Diesel. and this kid 1 shouts, "Ew man, turn that nasty shit"
and someone 2 popped in and said "shut up man, you would not say that if it was a guy and girl kissing, so whats wrong with it"
this kid 1 says "Thats nasty, their 2 gay black guys"
someone 2 says " whats it matter if tthey are black or white, straight or gay?"
then this girl chimes in and starts singing about how the slave movement was so much more important and more of a struggle then anything reguarding the " gays and their thing" and how we live today.
what i want to know is how they weigh these things out to see who is/was worse off. i was not aware of any scale to measure topics like this .......
