Got my new tattoo tonight! So happy with it and so glad to have my tattoo artist Roni back in Seattle. I've been going to her since 1996 and she has now done 10 of the 13 tattoos I have gotten. This chick is amazing. Fantastic artist and absolutely adorable. I waited 6 years since my last tattoo because I couldn't bring myself to go to anyone else. She has tattooed my mom (twice!) and several of my friends. I just love this chick and so does everyone who gets inked by her. I can't stress enough that she is first and foremost an artist - she also happens to tattoo. Such a huge difference than a lot of "tattoo artists" out there. What we did today may be a fairly simple design but I'd be happy to show you some of my other pieces by Roni if you want to marvel at how detailed they are.

I am so thrilled with the finished tattoo. I had been holding onto this picture for years and years and am glad I finally made it permanent. I just love it!
This was the original image from an old prayer card:
This is the placement of the stencil. You can see it is going to cover up a small tattoo I got when I was 18 years old:
Poor image and angle...but this is the finished outline before she filled it in:
