dumb, ugly, and uncreative.

saturday i went to universal with a group of guys from work, and experienced the awesome might of, "the simpsons," ride. hands down, the only ride worth my time that day. spiderman was cool as always, as was the mummy, but i've been on all the rides at both parks, a multitude of times, so it's not as thrilling to me much, but, "the simpsons," i had never gone on, and it owned.

i was tempted throughout the day, to alleviate my foot pain, and go and catch, "fanboys," at the universal amc, as it's the only place in florida i've seen it being shown, and i'm a star wars homo, and want to geek out on it. alas, i didn't deviate from the group.

since i got the ipod, i've been going rather nuts loading it with every audio item i've ever downloaded, and the real fear in the back of my mind is, "i'm gonna fill this massive hard drive in no time... i may need to buy another one..."

people told me that the 120gig is nearly impossible to fill, and to that i say, "you don't know me and my erratic listening behaviors..."

i have everything from wu-tang clan to holly go-lightly to the complete cypress hill discography to the audiobook of stephen king's, "the dark tower: book one: the gunslinger."... I HAVE A LOT OF AUDIO....

i've already put on over 12g's and going... but the best thing i've put on, is the multitude of comedy albums and files i downloaded and never got around to listening to... see, i don't have a cd player/stereo to listen to anything, and it's a rough thing for me to sit at the computer and listen to music/comedy/podcasts... i have to be sitting in my recliner, or laying down, or driving to enjoy something audibly, which is why i fucking love apple...

i had a shitload of patton oswalt items, from albums, to bootlegs, to rare radio appearances, one happening to be to this indi, non-commercial radio station, which i believed broadcast the sound of young america at one point/still does?, and had this hour long show called, "the collector's item," aired out of santa cruz, and had patton on, via phone from new york, and what they did, was have patton give them a playlist of music he loves, played the music, and then talked with him about how the music was picked and why he loves it. it was amazing, because, one, it's patton, and two, i got introduced to amazing music i might otherwise not have been made known of...

he said something on the show that made me have an awakening of sorts, concerning ipods. he said, "ipods have made people feel better about travel, because they can take their cd collection with them," and that it's amazing how having music available to you whenever you want with the ipod, is a comforting feeling.

i was blown away by the notion, because i've brought my ipod with me to work the past two days, and it truly does make the day go by, and the job more enjoyable, and it's just an amazing feeling to feel good about yourself when you're happy, and the stuff i have available at my fingers makes me happy... i think ipod's could solve all the problems in the world, given the chance...
