class starts next friday. The 18th.
My last semester, hahaha (until maybe two years later). Weird.

I've been doing some baking. My friend and I made a three-layered chocolate mousse cake with strawberries and buttercream a couple of weeks ago. Recipe from foodnetwork.com. It tasted damn good. But it wasn't three-layered. Hahaha. It ended up being three different cakes b/c we didn't have circular pans of three different sizes. More like rectangles and squares.
Damn, the things that go into desserts makes them less appealing to me now(but still tastes damn good). We even made the icing, and did u know icing is just straight up butter? Butter, my friend. Butter and sugar. Damn.

Then I made cheesecake for my parents. Also from the same website. Then last night my mom wanted me to make walnut cake, so I made that. That came out a little dry.

My parents want to move to Atlanta. Let me rephrase that. My DAD wants to move to Atlanta. This is his dream: we buy a three-story house. My parents make the down payment, and my brother pays the mortgage, i pay the utilities. My parents would live on the second floor, my brother in the basement, and me on the third floor. Oh and my parents would also pay for the food.

Yeah right. As much as I want to provide that closeness for my father, I need my space. Especially since they don't accept my gayness. Plus, my father had that opportunity when we were young. He chose to be out with his friends drinking or playing golf or working. Looking back, i don't remember my father in my life. Just my mom. Now that I'm ready to live my own life, he wants to hold on. Maybe if we had that attachment before he wouldn't feel the need for it now ... ?

Bah.

I'm reading a book called Running with Scissors. A humorous memoir about a gay kid. There's a part about lesbians in it. And that somehow led me to think about me running into my teacher that night and staying that dumbass stuff i said. gawd, I cringe.

I'm watching the foodnetwork right now. A hispanic woman is cooking. I like the way she says 'jalepenos'. "Hal-ih-PAAAAYnyos."
