Dx My problem? Well, ok, two (maybe three) problems:
1. I have a 4-chap ES fic in-progress that was s'pposed to be out tonight/tomorrow but, because of Amazon/hectic life in general, didn't make it. 2. When I finally had time to write it, I made the mistake of buying the Dramacon: Ultimate Edition (and reading the whole thing in one night), which has left me with too much DCon inspiritation (oh yes, it's a word: inspiring irritation/irritating inspiration) and not enough ES inspiration. 3. I've got the first chapter done, and I hate it. And the third chapter was killed by last night's ep (and the second 'n fourth by other little annoyances in the show).
...that being said, I'm sitting down tomorrow, redoing Ch1, saying "PISS OFF!" to canon (in that grand RTD way I've developed since discovering Who), and trying to finish it. And leaving DCon alone. Dx
What's pissed me off about ABC: I've heard summer at least if ever. The fact that they have these next four eps DONE and are considering not even showing them has pissed me off to no ends. ABC needs to be careful; once Eli and Daisies are gone, Betty's gonna be my only ABC show - and if they don't bring Gio back/hook Betty up with Daniel soon, I'm giving up on that, too. (I will ban ABC from life - I swear I will. >< )
Matt 'n Taylor really were the only really good bright points in this ep. From the mini-skates/French lessons to the "We need to keep talking, even if it's all shouting" line, they won me over even more in this ep. (Taylor's a week-by-week character for me; sometimes I love her, sometimes I hate her, and sometimes she falls somewhere in the middle. She got me last night, though. Definitely.)
...and oh my Fod. How did I just realize Jordan wasn't in last night's ep? No Maggie AND no Jordan? ABC's killing me again. Dx
Having no Maggie or Jordan in the episode completely sucked, if indeed it's the last episode we see. Especially Jordan when you consider the size of his fan base.
Maybe we'll be in luck the S2 DVDs will be released soon... I'm clinging at straws here, I know.
