Thanksgiving is quite obviously tomorrow. I am not sure, but I think Ryan and I will be going to San Diego to spend the day with his family. I've lived in America for a good couple of years now, but I've truthfully never gotten into the groove of Thanksgiving just because Australians don't celebrate it. Filling up with food and telling what you're thankful for. To some people I knew back home, that was just another crazy American thing but I guess that's all just a part of living here. Happy early Thanksgiving.

Christmas and New Years are the two holidays I love. When I was little, I used to enjoy spending the two holidays with my parents and my Nan. Sometimes we'd spend it with my other extended family, but not every year. Getting presents for both my birthday and Christmas, small sips of eggnog from my Nan, and great food. Those were all so wonderful to me as a little child. All in the summertime, as well. Those really make for good memories now. I've got this feeling that this year will provide other great memories, too.

We're back in California right now without any more Europe until February. Eleven days overseas isn't too long if you think about. When you're spending your sleepless nights in either a hotel room or a bunk in a tour bus, you kind of miss your home and bed even if every city you've visited in Europe is terrific. After we arrived at the airport and collected our baggage, Ryan and I crashed at my place. We're staying here for the next week and a half. There is a certain feeling of comfort knowing that the whole band doesn't have to do anything until then.
