Allison watched Duncan (the kid I used to nanny for) for the first time today. I'm kind of jealous that she gets to watch him now. Not only is that an awesome job that's easy and pays well, but I really got attached to Duncan. I still see him twice a month or so, but I miss getting to see him as often. But, I'm really happy he has someone as awesome as Allison to stay with him. I know they'll have fun together and she'll be a really good influence on him.
I told her to talk to him about video games and she'd be set. She called me and told me some of the cute things he said. He told her the best memory of his entire life was when I took him to my apartment, ordered pizza, and let him play my video games. She tried to tell him she was better than me at Dr. Mario and he told her that there was no way because I'm the best video game player in the world. haha.. he's so goofy and I miss him.
So I'm considering buying a 2005 Chevy Cobalt... the name brings back hilarious memories heh.. My jetta was given the death sentence over the weekend. The last thing I need to go is take out a loan other than my grad school loans, but I'm sick of buying cars that give me nothing but problems. I'm 100 miles away from the people I love and care about, and feel kind of trapped here with my car that, just like its predecessor, keeps breaking down on me. So we'll see what comes of it. This time I don't care one little bit about how it looks, if it is cute or is a nice color.. just if it is dependable.
