From Behind a Table

Jan 27, 2009 01:54

 Hey Everyone,

So what's happened since my last update?

Everything's Possible went off with some small hitches.  To quote myself, because really, who else would there be to quote--"Having people like what you write is cool, having talented people perform what you write is a blessing, having people to pay to hear it is a miracle."

I go into rehearsals for The Laramie Project fairly soon.  I just found out that my old high school crush Laura Coughlin is in it with me.  To say this delights me would be a massive understatement.

I'm almost done with my Oscar hunt.  I just have to see Frost/Nixon and The Wrestler.

This weekend I spent most of my time behind a table doing auditions and callbacks for The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, which I'm co-producing with my friend Leann, and which Bob Colonna is directing.  It's very interesting seeing what happens from behind the table.  It really does seem tougher than just auditioning, although I know as an actor that's not true at all.

I'll let you know how it works out.

That's all,
Kevin
