So, divorce.
I'm staying at (WP)'s place tonight, so I'm reasonably fresh tomorrow for my monthly visit with my daughter.
This afternoon, a nice lady showed up on the doorstep and asked to see me. She bears the official Divorce application papers submitted unilaterally by my ex-Wife. The Court date is set for 22nd of January. I may simply let it go through, but it lists the date of separation as the 2nd of June 2006. That was the date my ex- told me it was over and she was getting a lawyer, but she insisted on a divorce in early December 2004, disappeared for almost a week, that sort of thing. From then we tried on and off to reconcile not very successfully.
She could have communicated, we could have put the form in together, and not even had to go to court, all this does is cost her (& me) money for a Lawyer.
