guh.... right in the feels *sniffles* That's what I love about fanfic, being able to flesh out these little ideas we get from watching the movies or tv shows and knowing they most likely won't get answered otherwise. Bravo.

There's a tendency, when writing about Cap, to focus on how strange the modern world seems to him. You make the points very nicely that a) human nature doesn't change and b) he's got to miss the people far more than the environment.

Also, I do like to see a savvy Thor.

Yeah, I never got the idea that technology would freak Cap out - but losing everyone he ever cared about would definitely eat at him.

And thank you!!! Thor's a smart guy - hopefully fandom remembers that at some point. :D

As I said over at the Archive, this is wonderful. Your take on everyone is so spot-on; I can hear and see them as if this is a set of deleted scenes on the DVD.

This is what happens when you have terrible writers block for almost 7 months - and honestly, if I hadn't done that Summer Writing Challenge thing & written those 2 Avengers fic, I probably would still be sitting on this one. (So thank Jo for the fic challenge thing. *g*)
