Eunice on Exchange: Update #3
DAY 8
Went to school this morning to register for the new mods offered by Hanyang. It was a continuation of shocking surprises and heart attacks from last Friday's episode because this morning when we went, the school told us that there was a change in time for one of the mods as compared to what they offered to students who registered last Friday. WHICH MEANT that all my timetable planning for the last couple days were for NOTHING because I had to replan my whole timetable and decide if I should drop certain mods for the new mods =_= Now I know that HY reaaaaally likes to pua stunt and keep quiet about it. IRRITATING MAX.
After we were done, we went to Namsan Tower. Took the Namsan City Bus up the mountain and the best thing about it was that THE BUS RIDE WAS FREEEEEEE ^^V After we alighted from the bus, we had to walk up the mountain for a short distance before reaching the top. The view was really very spectacular, you could see the entire Seoul cityscape from there because Namsan was located at the geographical center of Seoul. It's funny how eveything looks like lego pieces from the top. I really liked the terraces full of locks (fondly called "Locks of Love" but I saw many phone cases lol) because it was so vibrant and colourful and had a really nice contrast against the sky. Oh btw, it was SO HOT TODAY I WAS SWEATING LIKE SOME PIG AT THE TOP OF THE TOWER WHERE I WAS NEARER TO THE SUN THAN I WAS ON THE GROUND TMD.

Initially wanted to find the mega bicycle lock that belonged to Khuntoria (LOL I WAS A VERY HUGE FAN OF THEM) but it was nowhere to be found T_T I guess they took it down because Namsan Tower had a policy of taking everything that wasn't a padlock down. Sobs. Took a bus down to Namdaemun when we were done touring the place.
Had lunch at this little Noodles Alley. We ordered a bowl of kalguksu (hand-cut noodles in soup) and bibimbap but turned out that the bibimbap set came with another bowl of kalguksu and the kalguksu set came with a bowl of glutinous rice. Can you imagine how freaking STUFFED we were after lunch. On the brighter side, it was about 5500KRW per set so I guess it was pretty worth the price? Everything was really well seasoned and really good ^^
Bought 4 tteoks for 1000KRW just to try...... Not very nice :S
Bought another kimchi donut but it tasted as weird as it sounds..... #RAGRET
WANGMANDUS. SOMEDAY YOU WILL BE IN ME ALL YOU DELICIOUS LOOKING GIANT DUMPLINGS.
We wanted to head back home after we were done touring Namdaemun because frankly speaking we were really tired and by then it was around 4pm. So we went to search for the nearest subway station BUT along the way we came across a post station so we went to write and mail out the post cards we bought at Namsan Tower hehehe hopefully they don't get lost on the way to SG :((((((
After we were done, we REALLY wanted to go home, and the nearest station was Myeongdong. So we walked past Myeongdong and we ended up getting an ice cream each
32cm ice cream more like LEANING TOWER OF ICRECREAM
And okay we finally went home after that HAHAHA school starts tmrw not sure if I'm really excited for that.....
