"everyone" thinks...
Andy Larson is still trying to keep this thing alive by telling me what “everyone thinks” of me and a slue of other rather unnecessary insults. I’ve tried really hard to explain to him that while he very well maybe in the high school state of mind (or elementary school state of mind for that matter) that I really don’t give a damn what “everyone” thinks about me…just my friends who would never give him the time of day…and some of those friends also stood up for me, making it very clear it was something that would never fall from my mouth…he’s lost his self created battle and is now going down like a fool, proving his true nature…
Yesterday I had a dentist appointment…and under normal circumstances I actually look forward to seeing my dental hygienist. We always chat it up and catch up on each other’s lives since the last time we saw each other. I mean, with my dental hygienist whom I’ve been seeing for years it’s not even like getting my teeth cleaned… well, that happy time has been snatched away due to the fact my dentist’s office no longer accepts our insurance or just about anyone else’s.
By the time I reached my new dentist’s office I was scared shitless. I mean, in the over a decade I’ve been seeing my dental hygienist there have been a few times where I didn’t have my dental hygienist and I hated having my teeth cleaned…my least favorite part has to be when they polish your teeth with that drill-esc thing. So one could imagine my fear of not only it being unpleasant but having someone new do it who would possibly be a male. I mean, the gender of my new dental hygienist had to be my worst fear. I’ve never been comfortable with male doctors of any kind.
Once they called my name all my fears were happily put to rest. I know have a Russian dental hygienist who is just as fond of me as the previous one and is even better at making the cleaning of my teeth faster and less painful.
Here’s to being less pessimistic and more optimistic…
