I'm pretty bored right now and I don't feel like doing anything constructive, so I figured I'd update. Copying off of Mel, I decided to put up some Rent icons myself. Last Wednesday I went to New York (my brother and I took turns driving in the morning to Newtown and took a bus from my Shir Ami to New York) to see Spamalot. It was really good and very funny. Plus the entire original cast was in it. So I got to see Tim Curry, David Hyde Pierce, and Hank Azaria - who I now have a crush on. He's just so cute and so funny, and as my brother said, he's pretty ripp, lol (after seeing him in Along Come Polly). He's so talented and really nice. We only got to meet 2 of the cast members, but one of them was Hank Azaria, so that made me VERY happy. The other guy we meet played Paddy (?), but sadly I forget his real name, but he was very nice. It was a nice day and I got to be with my parents and brother and see my Aunt, Uncle, and Grandpa. However, I was taking a 6:30 train on thursday morning in order to get back down to DC in time for class to turn in an assignment, not too mention I also had a group presentation and a final exam in Astronomy. So needless to say I was looking forward to Friday. However, there was a fire or something in Wilmington (though we were told there was some derailment or something) which delayed us in wilmington for almost an hour and a half, so I wound up missing my class, and just stressed me out even more during the whole day. But its ok, its done now. Friday I saw a performance of the AU Jazz ensemble for class with Lacey and then we watched Bewitched which was alright, though cute. Yesterday I had CPPC for APO at 9 in the morning and it ended a little before 1. But it wasn't too bad. Afterwards Julie invited me to go with her and several others to Guapos' for lunch. I hadn't been to Guapos since last semester, so it was nice to go. They have the BEST chicken quesadillas! Then later I made the trek to Superfresh near the law school. It wasn't too bad, though it was so crowded in there so I just grabbed what I needed to make for the senior sendoff/potluck that was later. I made this apple dish that my mom always makes around holidays and showed me how to make once for Humanities in 11th grade. I think it turned alright, especially when I went up after dinner to see if there was any left to take back and it was all gone. The potluck was really good, alot of people brought some good stuff. Anyways today I slept most of the day and haven't been productive, so I guess I should do some work, especially if I want to go to the Chanukah party and watch Grey's Anatomy.
