Busy, busy, busy!

This is my second entry of summer because I have just been sooo busy! With all my camps and such....it's just been crazy! Anyways....I guess that since right now I have a free minute here at LeadAmerica, that I shall update about what I have been up to.

::RYLA:: So RYLA kicked off my sumemr about a week after finals ended. Greg and I went up on the Thursday night, and when we got there all of the facilitators had to get together all of the kids bags and binders. That night we all picked jobs to do during registration, as well as set up the side gym. "B and G Show" was def the highlite of the nite! The next day the kids came, and I def had a really good group. My kids were great, and I was dubbed as "Coach" for the rest of the week. The energy and spirit from all of us facilitators really showed to the kids, and they all just loved it. Although the week ended really dumb with the cleaning of the gym, I will have to say that it was sooo much better than my first year, and I will really miss my D-Unit, BIG DIG, Roomie, and fellow facilitators<3

::MASC Camp:: Wow. That's all I can say that will even come close tto how amazing of an experience camp was. And for people who know me, I dont even like to say the word "amazing" unless completely necessacery. My mom and brother brought Linds and I up on Monday morning, and I was anticipating the fun that awaited. After registaring and getting our rooms together, Linds and I went over to the Quad where we did things like "Ride The Pony", "Frankenstein", "Butt Waves", "Lap Sits", and the classic "Red Rover". Next we were broken up into our council groups after the Welcome Camp in the auditiorium. I was on the Blue Council for the week, and we decided to name ourselves the "Blue Waves" for the Olympics that night. Also that night we had a mini tranquility before we went to bed where the floor JC and SC's told us a story and gave us cookies and milk. Hahah, it was cute. Then next day we got to meet our Power Skills groups, and had about 3 or 4 of those workshops. I believe that was the night that we watched "Spider Man" because the whole theme of the week was super heros. And tha night tranquility was outside on the Quad, with songs and stories from Noon, the JCs, and SCs. Wednesday was some more power skills, and Owl Island in the rain. That was crazy amd we got SOAKED! Wednesday night was a performance from all the councilors, Hyannis Sound ((Acappella Group)), along with the light-stick tranquility in the auditorium since it was pouring out. Thursday was some more power skills, and group activities as well as preparation for MADD. Thursday night we had 3 wicked funny comedians from Comedy Central TV. "Yo! Kris Krigle!" "You guys are like a clut!"....ohh MASC gotta love itt. Tranquitlity was also outside that night, and we got to write our letters to ourselves as well. Friday was our last full day at camp :o( The dance was that night, along with a wicked intense tranquility with candles and everything. I won't lie, I shed a couple tears just thinking about all of the positive experiences that I had had, and the amazing friends that I had made. I wrote a lot of my magic notes that night too. I was so sad to see Saturday come. Although it was only my first year, I was really sad to see it all go. It's just an experience to never be forgotten, and so much fun. We ended camp with watching the DVD ((which I can't wait to get!)), and a HUGE friendship circle on the Quad. That afternoon was filled with tears, hugs, and longing to see eachother again in Hyannis. I miss it so much<33

::LeadAmerica:: This is where I am currently updating from, Bentley College. I got here the day that MASC ended. Its just such a change from MASC. They are like wicked strict here! Like they legit yelled at us right when we got here!! Terrible. My group is cool though, and it's been really awesome to meet kids from all over the nation who share a similar career intrest. My group decided to make up a pet cafe called "Yappy Hour" for our business plan. So we get to present tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes!! We've gotten to go on a couple field trips too, which I guess make up for the boring lectures. We went to Harvard Business School, Harvard Square, MIT, Lowell Museum, Newbury Street, and the Federal Reserve Bank today. Haha and this afternoon was just classic and def note worthy. It was like a friggn monsoon here and we all just basically ran around barefoot to the cafeteria in the rain. It was nuts, but def a funny memory of this camp. The dance starts in about 10 minutes...so I better go now!

Europe on Thursday!!
