This has been the most special birthday and it hasn't even been my birthday yet!! It was all so unexpected!
This is going to be the most incoherent entry because I'm EXHAUSTED. And I'm so FAILING life this week.
Anyway, all the Von Trapp kids came in to the show today singing, "Happy Birthday" to me and they handed me balloons, cards, and presents. It was so sweet! I didn't expect ANY of it!!
Aurora, Luisa, Cait, David, Ashley, Lindsey came to the show which made me so happy! I seriously have the greatest friends. Yesterday Amanda, Courtney, Lisa, Elora, and Danielle came. Plus, loads of family both days.
After the show today, we all went out to the diner for my birthday where I got more gifts! I must have gotten 15 bouquets of flowers too. Aurora made me the most BEAUTIFUL clock ever with an Idina "See What I Wanna See" picture and the nicest card. Aurora, your gift was amazing! You're so talented!
Lindsey gave me a COACH BAG!!! Cait and Ashley gave me gorgeous jewlery. David gave me little cards/flowers/gifts. Courtney and Lisa gave me the cutest stuff the other night and Amanda got me the CUTEST shirt and jewlery with the sweetest card! I can barely type this out without being cheesy. It meant so much to me that people care about me. I was just so over-the-top happy with everyone and I'm basically out of words right now.
Jenna (Who plays Marta)'s sister wrote me out the most adorable card EVER. She's in first grade:
"to county: happy birthday. you are so predey and sweet. i hope we have you in the play next yer. you did great in the show.. your so predy alot. bye. love julia"
Then she attatched a DOLLAR BILL to the cover of the card! Her mom told me she attatched her whole bank money onto it, but she (the mom) made the daughter take it off. How freaking ADORABLE IS THAT!?
It sounds cheesy, but I feel like they're really my brothers and sisters. At times I want to shoot their heads off, but they're all so adorable, sweet, funny, and caring. I broke character so much on accident on stage just because they all cracked me up so much. I could barely sing. They make me laugh so much and I just love them all. Even if I'm not feeling well, they know how to put a smile on my face. They're so talented and cute.
I don't think I did that well today, but whatever. Again, random.
I want to thank you all so much for helping me get through the "rough times." I'm still not feeling 100%, but definitely much better after the successful/exciting shows. I don't know how I'd deal with everything if it weren't for all of you.
Quick story: There's this 19 year old who works backstage at the show and he is the most gorgeous human being to walk the face of the earth. Anyway, I've been obsessing over him for the past few weeks and supposedly someone told him that I liked him. Today he did not stop talking to me and attempted to make conversation. Of course I spazzed out so much, so he probably thinks I have problems. Anyway, he kept asking me all these questions and at the end he said,
"The little girls invited me to go out with you guys, but I have to go out to dinner with my parents. I'm so sorry, but I hope you have an amazing birthday Tuesday and we'll have to make plans for after the next show."
It was something along those lines. I seriously died. I can't stop thinking about him. He's amazing. And even though he's older, all I can do is keep thinking about him picking me up and like, going on a date. Even if it was just once. I would literally die happy. He's amazing. The end.
