I seriously think I can go die happy now or something. I'm like, shaking so much right now.
I emailed this to Mariska because I'm corny and I just wanted her to know I appreciated what she did for me: Hi Mariska, It's Courtney! I just wanted to thank you SO much for making my day so special yesterday. I had such a fantastic time and it really meant a lot to me. I think you are such an amazing person and actress and you really inspired me. I'll always be a huge fan of yours! Thank you again!!!
And I just got this email back, exact words, in big pink letters:
dear courtney, it was so nice seeing your pretty face again-i'm glad you had fun! thank you for your sweet words about me. i'm truly flattered and honored to have you as a fan and a friend. stay well and God bless. xo, m
FRIEND. FRIEND. Mariska Hargitay did not just call me a "friend." I have known Sho for over a year and have done so much for her [with Cait&Dana] and haven't been acknowledged as more than "first fans." AND THE STAR OF A TV SHOW JUST CALLED ME A FRIEND. And I haven't done a thing for her. And my email was so fangirl-y! Seriously, I LOVE HER. GOD BLESS THIS WOMAN FOR SERIOUSLY BEING A SAINT OR MY GUARDIAN ANGEL OR SOMETHING! She like KNEW that I needed a new adult/actress figure in my life. No joke, I seriously think I'm going to call her my guardian angel. Hahahaha.
And I'm done with this essentially useless and overwhelming LJ entry. I don't ever know where to share my excitement besides LJ because honestly, no one cares. My dad doesn't even think it's anything out of the ordinary.
