Dearest Darlingest Courtney..<3
OMG. OMG. OMG. OMG. HOLY CRAP.
OH MY GOD.
I'm so excited right now!!!!!!!!! A few weeks ago I wrote a letter to Megan Hilty. I wasn't going to at first because I haven't seen her perform live but every time I've met her she's been so incredibley nice and I was bored and so yeah, I did. Plus, it was her birthday so I figured it would be nice just to send a little letter. I didn't really expect anything back and I pretty much forgot about it. There's all this crazy Hilty-love going around and I felt the need to participate in it. Haha.
Back in November Cait and I met her and we went, "Megan! You're amazing." and she was like, "YOU KNOW MY NAME?! OMG!" Haha. That's before she became so popular and anyone knew her. Then we had a 10 minute conversation with her about being fans of Wicked and stuff.
Now that you have some backround, here's my OMG part. So I walked downstairs to pick up the mail and I see this purple envelope addressed to me. I thought it was like an invitation or something [LOL] but all of the sudden I looked up at the return address and it's from MEGAN HILTY. So at this point I'm pretty much SQUEALING and dancing around my house. Hahaha.
So I opened it and it's this really pretty purple CARD with a green M on the front.
It says,
Dearest Darlingest Courtney [Way to be adorable Megan!],
Thank you so much for your letter and the picture! It was so nice of you to take the time to do that-I really appreciate it! I'm so excited to meet you whenever you come back to see the show! Till then...be well! And thank you again for your support. <3 Always, Megan Hilty.
I've written fanmail to Idina [like 7x], Kristin, Cary Shields [LOL], and JLT. I've gotten personalized pictures from Idina and a signed playbill from Kristin. Nothing from Cary or Jen [Haha]. I think it's so freaking nice that Megan takes the time out to write CARDS! And I didn't even include any SASE. And she wrote out such a long thing! This is almost as good as my birthday card from Sho. The 2 of them are so great.
That made me so happy. I was in a really bad mood again this morning and I was like randomly crying. Haha. So I came downstairs looking at the mail in a bad mood but then opened this and literally started dancing around my house. LOL. She's such a sweetheart! The funny thing about this too is that we saw her the other day and she looked at me like I looked familiar. I was going to mention to her how I sent her a letter but I got too embarrased. I WISH I did now because she said she's "excited" to meet me again. Haha. Now I really see why everyone's so obsessed with her!
Remind me again why I run Sho's fanclub...[Just kidding. Just kidding. I promise. I need some reassurance though.]
