I want to remember how I was feeling tonight forever. Today was the first time I have had a dance that I cheographed debuted in front of an audience. It went so well! We got applause during the jump into the swan, which was totally unexpected to me, but I was so excited about it. As soon as the dance ended, I knew that it had gone well. I got backstage and litterally jumped on Natale b/c I was so excited. And everyone loved it, and I had so many people come up to me afterwards and tell me how much they liked it and everything. I really didn't expect it to get as good of a responce as it did. Nate and Leah said it was their favorite piece, and that mine really stood out as being good. And my dance actually caused someone to cry! I am so taken aback by all of the good responces that everyone is giving me, and it's just such a good feeling to know that you have achieved something. My dad was here to see it too, which also made me really happy. I'm so proud of all of my dancers too- I could not have asked for a better cast. They are all hard working, and listen well, and responsive to all of my ideas. I love them all! I'm so happy that tonight went well- I haven't felt this much happiness in a long time....
