Halloween Halloween!

I really need to start updating more. Not because I imagine that you all are captivated by my life (but don't lie, you know you are), but moreso because I think it's cute to look back at things. And sometimes a pleasant surprise. I thought that I blew off all my New Year's Resolutions from last year, but it turns out that I kept one. Perhaps one of the more important ones.

This summer brought many changes in my life, but most of them are positive ones. Although I did lose someone important, and it is my fault, I feel like I did what was right for me. (Which is definitely something that was due to happen eventually.) And I changed summer job locations and went to work at the YMCA in Plymouth instead of Downriver. Again, for the most part, a good thing.

I just got a new job, so that makes 2 for me. That is 2 more jobs than I had last year at this time. lol. I'm Nannying in Northville (which is kind've a hike) for two adorable girls from the Plymouth Y (Shh! Don't tell the Y!), and yesterday I just got hired at Southgate Preschool and Child Care as a substitute teacher. However, from what they hinted at, they aren't particuarly happy with their current staff and it might turn into something much more permanent. If it came down to getting a full time job with them, I might have to do that and give up Nannying. I love Eva and Gretchen (those are my girls), but a 60 mile roundtrip commute it a little much. Especially considering the preschool is 2 miles from my house. But I'll trouble myself with that version of Sophie's Choice when it comes up.

I have to study for a Physics test tonight. I'm not a fan of Physics...mainly because I don't understand it. And I'm a little stressy because Derek andI were supposed to have a study session, but because of my crazy schedule, we had to cancel. So I need to go study.

And I might be going back to Oakland next semester. I just want to freaking graduate, and Oakland seems like a good solution to get out faster.
