this is gonna be lame and quick because i've done my spam but i've posted something the last two years on this date.
three years if you want to count my KAJSDFLKSJAFLKASJ update back on greatest journal.
three years ago today. just three years ago. ANAHEIM DUCKS THIS ONE'S FOR YOUUUUUUUUUU.
nothing will ever be the same. nothing like it. that team was good. scary good. they were built perfectly. looking back on it 3 years ago when i see that our team is completely dismantle you realize how good they were. how that doesn't happen often.
and even with all the talent they had the right amount of magic. giguere stole so many games <3 bryz was the perfect backup <3. scott niedermayer's countless just clutch goals in OT and just being the captain. teemu's leadership, smile, heart, game 5 gwg in detroit, the perfect shutdown line that completely killed the sens top line and provided game winning goals themselves (pahlsson and moen), andy mac was back :D, the youth (getz/perry/pennner/kunitz), may from the trade deadine, pronger just being pronger, marchant with his leadership coining the DESTINY IS HEART, SACRIFICE, AND PASSION slogan.
and now they're all gone. we have getzlaf and perry and hopefully niedermayer and selanne next year (crosses fingers) and marchant and parros.
and that's it.
but no matter where they play now, never takes this away. that bond they share. 2007 STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS WITH THE ANAHEIM DUCKS. it's ours forever <3 engraved in the cup.
