Comment on this post and I will choose seven interests from your profile.
You will then explain what they mean and why you are interested in them.
Post this along with your answers in your own journal so that others can play along.

A fun Meme like this is apparently the only thing that will get me to update my LiveJournal. Sorry for the lack of posts! Anyway, here are my answers. Beware, I'm pretty talkative. Lol.

Mmkay, for me Lynzi chose:

Babies/Children
I adore kids. That's helpful for me, since I live and breathe kids (with five younger siblings). I want to be a mother when I grow up. When I was younger, all my friends thought I was NUTS because I told them that I wanted to beat the record for most children born to one mother. (The world record is 69 -- including 16 sets of twins and 4 sets of quads!) They thought I was freakin' weird. They still do. I still want a lot of children, but I doubt I'll make it to 69. ;) Really, I can't wait to be able to cuddle a child all my own and experience pregnancy, childbirth, baby's first steps and the teenage years. Being a mother is the crowning glory of a woman! Pregnancy/Birthing/Mothering horror stories don't scare me. I know I can handle it. I know I'll make a good mother if I'm blessed with children.

Dresses
I'm super feminine. I love wearing skirts and dresses. I prefer them to pants. My favorite of all are vintage 1950's style dresses with the big, full, circle skirts. You know the ones? There's just something about wearing skirts that makes me want to prance around all day singing. I really do enjoy being a girl. ;)

Hula-hooping
Hahaha. It's as simple as this really, my mom bought two hula hoops at a garage sale (50 cents a piece) a few months ago and immediately it became the most popular activity in my family. Everyone started learning how and then we started having competitions. I am the undefeated champion. I can hula-hoop for hours if I had the mind too. It's very therapeutic. Not to mention the fact that it keeps your tummy in shape. I've even been sighted hula hooping in the house while cooking dinner, watching tv, or listening to music. It's just plain fun. :D

Julie Andrews
Of course. Who doesn't adore Julie Andrews? When I was seven or so, I watched the Sound of Music for the first time and then became OBSESSED with it. I won't even tell you all the dorky things I did back then, but it was bad. xD This is what got me interested in musicals, which then got me interested in Broadway, and the rest is history. She is so lovely and genuine. Once, back when I was in my SoundOfMusic/Julie Andrews obsessed phase, I got the chance to meet Charmian Carr (you know, the girl who played Liesl), she was so nice. But I was pretty starstruck and couldn't think of anything to ask her other than, "What's Julie Andrews like?" xD I'm still pretty obsessed with Julie. My sister went to California a few years ago and got a picture of her handprints at the Chinese Theater in HollyWood. I've always wanted to meet her. And I bought her autobiography the day it came out and read it in like two days. She's awesome.

Kristin Chenoweth
What can I say about Kristin Chenoweth? She is adorable and has the most gorgeous voice. I first became a fan of hers when I saw the 2003 version of "The Music Man." I started looking her up online and then bought all her CDs. And now look where I am. She was adorkable on the Tony's last Sunday. Who else would do fake armpit farts while wearing a glamourous dress on national television? xD Oh Kristin. We love you anyway.

Piano
Well. Piano has been a major part of my life since I was eight years old. Now I'm eighteen. You do the math. I have the most amazing piano teacher (who's only twelve years older than me, so we're like sisters). She's from Russia and she has a gorgeous accent and would do absolutely anything for you. It's been really fun getting to know her. She's only been in America for five years (I've been a student for all five of those years), and it took her a while to get accustomed here and to let go of some of her Russian customs. I've also noticed such a great improvement in her English, and I don't even notice her accent anymore (it's still there, mind you, but I've grown accustomed to it.). She's a sweetie. She just had a baby, actually and I stayed with her overnight in the hospital after he was born. He's darling. Of course, she can play the piano like nobody's business. She's been in Russian music conservatories since she was six years old and they are TOUGH over there. That's part of the reason she's such a great teacher, she doesn't let me get lazy. Anyway, I love piano. I'm currently trying to recruit some students, so I can start teaching myself.

Scrap-Booking
Scrapbooking is a rather new endeavor that I've embarked upon. I've played around with it for a while, but I finally made my first full scrapbook for my graduation. It turned out great! I'm working on a scrapbook from our last trip to DisneyWorld (in 2006) and I want to get it finished before we return to DisneyWorld in January 2009. It's so much fun!!
