How nice it was to rain today. I spent the morning doing homework. Then, my grandma picked me up and we went to the movies. The ride to Grossmont Center consisted of everyday small talk. We got to see Elizbethtown. On our way to a cafe My grandmother and I talked about her trips to europe and french food. We talked of cheese and bread. Of Greece and Rome. From Paris to Normandy. Oh, how I long to visit Normandy. "There's a moment after the sunset when the sky is suddenly green and the world stands hushed and waiting for the first white stars to convene."

Now I'm sitting at home, in front of the fireplace, wrapped in a RENT colored blanket. The sound of rain on the roof is one well received and one I hope to hear soon again. The only job I have left to do tonight is write and note to a friend well missed, and read a great novel by Mr. Charles Dickens while sipping my chi tea. How nice it was to rain today.
