I'm sitting here with 12 applications done, my official summer resume attached to each one. Woo-the-fuck-who! It took me far too long to do this.
On Wednesday afternoon, Jomar and I went out on the town. It was really fun just walking around the city with no direction. San Francisco's such a great place to wander aimlessly. So we met up and decided to go to one of Jomar's favorite tea spots on Sanchez near the Castro. It was really nice, but really yuppy and really expensive. As it should be. Then we walked around the district until we decided to just walk all the way downtown. On the way, I picked up an application to usher for the three major theaters in the City. Now, I might have my pick of I Am My Own Wife, Broadway-bound Mambo Kings, and Wicked (maybe?). We made it downtown, and Jomar and I decided to have a not-so cheap dinner at the Metreon food court, where we spent three hours working on the fucking resume. But by 11, Jomar had helped me craft a beautiful resume. That was a really nice evening.
All the things I was waiting to receive have arrived! (Awkward sentence.) However, to my disappointment, I packed all the power cables to my camera dock and my speakers in a box which is now in storage. Rah. That's okay, though. When I get a job, I won't have time to fiddle around with silly electronics. Silly, silly things. Plus, I have all my DVDs and PS2 games with me, so it really doesn't matter. I am officially entertained.
In other news, I found out that I randomly got an A- in Playwrighting II. Woah... Too bad I didn't turn in those 50 pages... Meh. Chiori's going to make me read the play next semester at the first class, so I'm really not off the hook.
This weekend has finishing up last semester's work written all over it. Hopefully, I'll get interviews. I need a job. I need one now. Please.
Also, I got Mac OS X Tiger. It's great. I love it. Macs are the best.
