its over
So surgery is over and I think it went well.
I had a really long talk with Tripi last night and we were talking about being an adult and I've been thinking alot... there is not one person I know that is my age that is an adult. Sure there are some mature people out there and some people out there who are almost there but not one single person I know is truly an adult yet.
I think all of us have something...whether it be one thing or a plethora of things to over come before we can call ourselves adults.
it might be something as simple as getting over hatred and learning how to forgive or it could be learning to not call your parents for everything.
I'm just sick of us all using the term adult and thinking we are all so grown up...we ALL have so much to learn before we can call ourselves that. Most of us are only 20 or so and no matter how mature you are at this age, you are not an adult. You might even be to mature for your age and when the time comes for you to really be an adult, you will wonder where your fun years went.
We need to enjoy being young, and that doesn't mean we have to go out and get drunk or high every night it just means we need to live everyday like its our last. And that everything you ever wanted to say to a person gets said and that you are the person you want to be everyday. And we need to learn not to regret anything becasue at one time what you did was exactly what you wanted.
Don't grow up to fast, it will come soon enough...lets stay young a few more years.
