(no subject)
So, I'm 19 now. Weird. Yeah, I'm a baby compared to most of the kids in my grade, but I still feel pretty damn old.
I had a good day. Fairly low-key. My friends and I all had classes all day, but Emily gave me three (yes, three) birthday cards (one each at breakfast, in music history, and at dinner) and I had lots of well wishes in person, via away message shoutout, on AIM, texts, facebook (good grief did I rack 'em up on facebook!), and on the phone. It was really really great. Then after dinner, a bunch of the voice major girls and girls on the hall came over and we opened presents. I got so much great stuff from everyone. Such thoughtful gifts! I am so excited to get to use everything! There were TWO cakes! One that the girls made and one that my parents ordered from the dining hall and had delivered: both chocolate with chocolate icing and both delicious :) There is still basically the ENTIRE cake from dining hall left, but the homemade one is pretty much gone. Yum...Breakfast... :-p
OK, I think that's pretty much it. I'm staying up to watch Jay Leno's monologue/headlines and then going to bed early. Again. Yay. Sleep is good. 9 am theory is not. :-/
