building = bruises
this was a pretty funn weekend. plus, it was the weekend beofre the last full week of school, so that made me pretty happy.
i went over to kevin's house at around 11:00 yesterday and helped him and his dad move at least 100 pounds of mulch and spread it all over their yeard. it was pretty tiring. once we got done with that, we wen't to home depot and bought some wood to start building the platform. building it took about 5 hours, and we only got the base of it done. it was a bitch to do though, it left me with a good share of cuts and bruises on my arms and legs.
last night, we ate ribs at his house and watche the world poker tournament. it's actually prety fun to watch when you know what's going on. i.e. you play poker. after a while, though, i just came home and vegged out until i went to bed.
i went to my dads house today and got phantom back. i was happy to hear that he liked it. we went and saw kingdom of heaven, which was actually really good. it was more of a drama than an action movie, but it was still really cool. the action scenes rocked, too. even if it did have hints of lord of the rings. (the siege towers looked exactly the same)
i got home tonight and watched family guy, which was awesome as usual. but american dad sucked. that show has just not gotten any better since the first episode. it makes me sad.
oh well, im tired, this weekend was pretty exausting and painful, but it was worth it. that tree platform is gonna be awesome once we get it finished!
