Since Halloween...
Wow, it's really been awhile...
Santa was good to me. I got my new laptop, which makes things very exciting. My old one was getting to the point where I had to remove the back panel and poke around with my screwdriver every 5 seconds just to keep it running.
My brother came to visit. We went to play with the Brooklyn boys, went to see Spamalot, Spelling Bee, and Sweeney Todd. It was quite the enjoyable weekend.
On a sad note, though, my pepere died. :( It was a crazy few weeks. I went home for Thanksgiving and his brother, my great uncle, died. Then only two weeks later, he was gone. It was awful. It's especially tragic because he was the best part about that side of the family. It was so awful being at a funeral/burial twice in the same two weeks. Ugh.
Also what made the season even more depressing was that it was the first time in 6 years that I did not spend it with Ryan. So weird. But I have to admit that I was proud of myself because I managed to cast it aside pretty well and have a great time with my friends.
There have also been some great distractions along the way. ;)
Oddly, I can't really think of anything else to report. I should write more often to be sure I don't miss anything. If I wrote about all of the adventures I've had in between Halloween and Xmas, it would be pages upon pages, lol.
