UpDaTe
I haven't posted in quite some time! Really, I have been extremely busy this semester. This was one of my best semesters ever because I was actually in the classroom. I got to teach every Friday...I love teaching SO MUCH, there is no doubt in my mind that i could do it for the rest of my life :-) The semester is winding down now. I have two more "class meetings"...We are meeting during final time, but we don't have finals. In fact, most classes i've taken in college did not have a final. Maybe I took one or two actualy final exams. I am lucky I guess!
This summer, I have a new position at my job. I have worked for this child care program since I was 14...I work aftercare during the year and summer care during the...ya know...summer. I have worked my way up from a Program Aide...to an Assistant...to a Group Leader....NOW, my boss has invented a new position for me! I will be the HEAD Group Leader of the "junior camp" which consists of Kindergarten-3rd grade. My co-worker Kristen will head up the "senior camp". I will be in charge of about 7 group leaders under me. I am involved in hiring and also in charge of mettings and a lot of logistics planning. This is very good for me because I will get the extra money that I will need for the Fall. During my student teaching, I will not be able to work my aftercare program because I will have to teach until 3:05, not giving me enough time to get back to Whippany.
Anyways, I am working on the last paper that I will have to write for college..Next semester, I have no actual classes, just teaching!! I am writing a paper for a wonderful class called READING ASIAN CULTURES...doesn't it sound fun? I love how I am a SENIOR and still taking these dumb gen-ed hideous courses. OH WELL, it's almost done...
