weekend comes to a close
This weekend was opening for EoP. Although it was incredibly surreal to be performing with an audience, our show went off spectacularly. The audience numbers weren't very high any of the days, but friday and saturday's audience made up in noise what they lacked in numbers. However, the matinee show today might as well have been empty considering how little response we got from the audience. Of course everyone was tired to begin with, but no laughter made it even worse. On a good note, we did a good job which means the taping today probably went very well. I still love my show. It's been such a good experience for me. It had really challenged me as an actor and I have had a chance to get to know some people much better. It's too bad that I'm finally befriending people who I've know for a while and of course it's my last show with the players. I think everyone should come see my play!! But I must admit I will be happy when it's over to get some time back.
I've been so busy with activities and class work. I'm looking forward to when this show ends, cause it should mean I have a week to myself. And then of course the chaos will start up again. I personally feel like I'm holding together well, but quite a few people have been falling apart. I hope things begin to settle down soon.
At this moment I'm suppose to be finishing up my paper due tomorrow. I've been having a ridiculously difficult time trying to concentrate or form any type of coherent thought, let alone sentence. I just want to go to bed at a reasonable time tonight. That would make tomorrow bearable and hopefully set the tone for the rest of the week. Anywho...
