A Joke:

Apr 02, 2004 01:32

At the blissful, blissful, and Oh so moving concert that I attended just this night, I heard a Joke.
It was relayed to us by Kinnie Starr, the performer, who heard it firsthand.
The Authur? A four year old indian boy named Satchel.
Here is the joke:

There were two crows flying up in the sky.
And then one fell into a puddle of fire.

Don't even try to get it. Just enjoy it! I laughed so hard, especially since she told it three times in an amazing attempt to clear up our baffled laughter!

its all in the delivery of the joke.......they say it was such confidence that you can't help but fall over in laughter.

Do a double take when you think of this little boy leaning over and asking for her audience: 'wanna here a good joke?'

She then said after the third retelling, "I think really he's just a tiny mystic philosopher."
And then I laughed even harder.
