(no subject)
The RibFest is officially over.
This morning I had to work at IPD until like 2 or so, then i headed downtown to ribfest where marietta had been since 10 am. i know this because she called me at least 8 times and left me voicemails about how bored she was and how she was lonely. poor marietta. anyway, i got there and we hung out, had fun, and sold sno cones.
there is this one boy who we dubbed "carolina boy" because this kid has worn carolina gear for 3 days straight. anyway, marietta was convinced that he was really cute, and we have been staring at him from a distance for a while--a good distance obviously. well anyway, after 3 days of staring and oogling him, he finally comes over to our booth to ask for a free sno cone. we tell him no. he says he'll give us a free lemonade if we give him a free sno cone. we give in. bad deal for us... the boy was hideous. he had bad teeth, pimples, and dirty clothes. and the lemonade sucked too.
so many creepy yucky old men hit on marietta today. there is too many to write about here, so just ask her about it if you're that interested.
we finally got paid. a little over $200. which isn't at all bad for sitting in an air conditioned box, eating free food, and doing nothing for three days with my best friend. it was actually fun. we probably would have been doing that anyway...except paying for food but in a larger space. so we got paid to do nothing really. it was fun though. marietta misses the box. im glad to be out. it was really sticky. i've showered twice tonight already, but i can still smell the BBQ...i feel like i need to shower again, but im just too tired to do it right now.
trying to figure out when it will be a good time to go to the "store"...suzie...when would be a good time? we also need to figure out a good time to go to the pawn shop to buy your graphing calculator. maybe we can do that tomorrow. its not like we have anything else to do.
blaine is moving away, and that makes me sad. i love blaine. i haven't gotten to talk to him in a good long while, but hopefully i'll get to see him soon: suzie said something about going to see charlie and the chocolate factory. i have never seen this before. some people find this odd. while i'm at it, i haven't seen star wars either. ever. ha ha ha.
well, i'm about ready to go to sleep. so i'll talk to you cats tomorrow.
