a puppy and things I'm looking forward to in the near future
So my brother came home with a chihuahua puppy. I guess he found it in a parking lot behind Staples. It was ridiculously cute. I think my aunt is keeping her. I really wish I could have kept her. She was really fun. She kept following me around the house. We had to tie jingle bells around her neck because she's so tiny and we couldn't find her sometimes. We went to PetSmart and I carried her around in the hood... of my hoodie.
First of all SPEED RACER!!! OMG!
I've been looking forward to this FOREVER! You don't even know. I love Speed Racer. I was obsessed with this show when I was a kid. I was completely in love with Speed. He was my first cartoon crush. I have the first couple seasons on DVD. I'm a little worried. I'm not too sure about Emille Hirsch being Speed. And I'm dreading the Mach 6. But still... SPEED RACER!!! I may end up seeing this movie on my own though, seeing as Julius is at school, and I don't really have anyone else to go with. But I HAVE to see it when it comes out. I just have to! Anyone live in Orange County? Wanna go with me?
In two weeks Julius's mom and little brother are going to Japan. I'm looking forward to this because she asked me what I wanted. I want the new Polysics CD. It's been out for a bit in Japan, and I really want it! She got me the last one from a client she has who works for Sony Japan, or something... Also when we were at Julius's this weekend I saw that his brother had bought some Gundam models, and I was talking about how I wanted one of the mini ones to use with my Keroro model. Keroro's head can come off and fit onto the mini Gundams. Anyway, Emmit (julius's brother) heard, and he was like "I'll get you one when I go to Japan." and I was like "YAY!" I mean, really, I could just to down to Anime Nuts down the street and buy one... but it's cooler this way.
Second week of June Julius get out of school!!! YAY! A whole summer of being in the same city!
July 3-6 Anime Expo.
I'm not sure if we'll go to this. I never had the urge to go before. We got to go last year because Julius's mom had a client who got passes for everyone (I think he's also the one she got the Polysics CD from...). Unfortunately we didn't know they were 4 day passes and we only went 2 of the days. I really want to go again, but I don't know that I can afford to. Especially considering my lack of job. But maybe his mom can get us passes again? maybe... hopefully...
July 24 - 27 COMIC CON!!!
I love Comic Con! I've been the last two years, with Julius. It's always crazy amounts of fun. This is the first year that we're gonna have 4-day passes so that's gonna be awesome. I need to start saving up money for that, because I know I'm gonna be buying crap loads of things I don't need.
