Woooo time for an update. I'll tell you about my turkeytastic Thanksgiving Break and then some.
1. I didn't make region, which sucks but at least I don't have to endure any more practice marathons, master classes, or phase 2. Heh heh.
"Hap-py birth-day an-a! I don't like you!" -Mr. Garza
2. Erki pretty much humped Mr. Cote.
3. Matt ate a paper origami crane. Yes, he actually chewed, swallowed, and digested it.
4. The Rocket Summer Concert just about rocked my socks off. Sammy disappeared in the car and we got lost driving for a while and we were late but we got lucky: I was FRONT CENTER. Right by the stage. Bryce Avery was sweating and spitting all over me and I didn't even care. Then I touched his butt, oh beat that. (Chill, he was crowd surfing.) Then I got my picture taken with him. Sammy recognized a bunch of her myspace friends in Deep Ellum, which is kinda weird, no? Sam also almost passed out during the 3rd opening band. =/ And a ton of other funny stuff happened that I'm sure Sam remembers, but I don't so check with her for more details.
"WTF that guy just cut me off! But I'll let him go because his wife has breast cancer." -Devon

"Whoa whoa whoa! I just saw a man pulling a dead body out of his car!!" -Sam
"This next song is about a girl who works on the streets. Because she is a prostitute." -Adam Richman. Goodness his show was amazing.
5. Amanda came into town and we hung out, which was lovely. SHE'S GETTING MARRIED?? WHAT? YES! Congrats to her; she'll be the first of my friends to get married and I'm going to be a bridesmaid. :-) We went to Starbucks saw all the popular kids, and we swung by Goatman's Bridge and Hell's Hallway. (Drove down there at night with the headlights turned off. It was pretty fun.)

7. My Grandpa, Aunt, Uncle, and 2 cousins came to visit for Thanksgiving and I am so glad they're gone. My family is crazy and I've had enough of them to last me until next Thanksgiving! I now loathe "family activities."
"BONITA! Shut up you stupid dog or I'll put you outside and you'll get blown away!" -My mom (I was feeding the dogs and Bonita was barking and it was REALLY windy outside)
8. Saw the Pride and Prejudice movie, it was alright.
9. Katelyn and Brett went on a date?? (WTF!) Yeah, that's what I said.
10. Me and Katelyn went shopping, had a sleepover, and saw Just Like Heaven at the dollar theater. It was a really good movie; I love Reese Witherspoon.
11. Hellogoodbye concert! Danielle couldn't come but wow that was the trippiest concert I've ever been to. Dev and I got lost (what else is new?) and drove about 25 minutes out of the way and ended up 45 minutes late to the concert and STILL got good spots right by the stage! But I've never been pelted and kicked in the face by so many crowd surfers in my life. The first 2 opening bands were such crap I was cringing the whole time. Their lyrics were lame. Their tuning was nonexistant. The band members weren't even good-looking. Peachcake opened for them and one guy was wearing pajama pants, another was in a hotdog costume, and another was dressed up like a ketchup bottle. They had silly string and water guns and stuffed animals and beach balls on the stage. It was so odd. Then everyone was climbing onto the stage and there were more people on the stage than there were in the crowd! We saw Diana from patho there and met some weird Asian kid. And Melissa Ganotis was there? Oh shit. But Hellogoodbye was awesome!

12. Danielle had soccer pretty much the entire break so I saw zero of her.
13. Devon, Nick, Erki, and I went to the Rooney and All-American Rejects concert. It was soooo good and the lead singer of Rooney is soooo hott and the girl next to us had a crush on Erik and we listened to Dane Cook in the car and it was fun.

15. Then I stayed up until 2am working on homework...
16. ...and woke up late this morning. I'm not ready for school to start up again.
