Ok so the Shoe Problem has been somewhat resolved. I didn't find a pair of brown flats yet but I'm going to DSW with my mom this weekend. I did, however, find a super-cute pair of cowboy boots in my size at a reasonable price at Target and I bought them today after school. (And the guy at the checkout was definately a less Hollywoodesque version of Orlando Bloom.) I am oh-so-happy. And I also found a pair of black and white flats from Old Navy that I like and they didn't have my size at the store so I'm ordering them off the internet.

I love shoes.

And today I went to Barnes and Noble to get book ideas for our first LEAP Book Club Meeting, which is on Monday, November 7th. You don't have to be in LEAP to join, but it is a LEAP club. Mr. Orlopp is the sponser. If you'd like to join, just come to our meeting on Monday after school in Mr. O's room and we'll vote on our first book. Feel free to bring book ideas if there is a specific book/author you'd be interested in reading. My book ideas are as follows: The Lovely Bones (Alice Sebold), 1984 (George Orwell), The Secret Life of Bees (Sue Kidd), Lullaby (Chuck Palahniuk), Fight Club (Chuck Palahniuk), and last but not least Life of Pi (Yann Martel). We meet on the first Monday of every month to discuss the book and then vote on our next book. I'm way excited.

And the EHS Book Club is reading The Perks next! How cute.

Saw 2 on Sunday! Can't wait, can't wait!

OMG THE O.C. COMES ON TOMORROW FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A MONTH. WHO'S EXCITED? WHO'S EXCITED? I am!

"Did you guys hear the announcements? You could win a $250 college scholarship! And usually scholarships like that are really just checks that you SHOULD use for college but you don't HAVE to. I wish I could apply. To pay for my addiction to drugs and alcohol. Dealers come banging on my door every night wanting their money and I don't have it so I have been giving them viles of my daughter's blood." -Mr. Laferierre
