peter wentz (of fall out boy) signed my arm :-D

...speaking of sex, there were lots of free condoms at the fall out boy concert last night... and although lubricant may have been accidently grabbed at first (oops), condoms were eventually apprehended to make balloons.  Unfortunatly, they were lubricated condoms, so balloon fun was apparently not meant to be had.  *sigh* next time perhaps.  Although other brave souls did make balloons, creating good fun for all.

So yeah, i went to the fall out boy concert last night w/ ali and chrissy (facetiousness).  it kicked all ass.  complete amazingness to be found in the bassist/writer that is peter wentz.  got his book signed (he wrote "hey nicole, we rule (me and you) -peter"  though ali (damn her) got "lets be in love" but i got my arm signed too so it's all good).  it's called "the boy with the thorn in his side" and the first lines read "This story is a complete waste of the eyesight you will lose reading it.  When you are done you'll ask yourself what the point was.  There isn't one."  i find that to be an amazing set of lines. And I admire Pete so much... he is pretty much what I aspire to be, a successful writer AND bassist... although I through some acting and photography in there too for my future goals. He also seems to really care about the fans and the music, and though I only met him briefly, he seemed quite nice.

then i lost my fall out boy love will tear us apart shirt and was upset and told dirty (the merch guy) that (don't ask WHY I told him that, but it wasn't completely reason-less) and he got "sad" for me and gave me a kiss (on the forehead).  oh the randomness.  gotta love concert people.  he also showed us his tatoo which reads "dirty" on the inside of his lip.  tres cool.
and yeah, ali bought me a new shirt and i shall love her forever for it.

before all the pete wentz and dirty craziness, gym class heroes played and then we got to talk to the singer and he appreciated our likingness of his band+music.  then The Academy Is... played.  good enough, didn't pay too much attention as that was when pete was doing the book signing.  then midtown played.  wow, i really like them.  the guitarist had awesome hair.  and threw up on stage which was gross but he kept playing so i gotta give him props for the strong attitude he kept.  the singer the proceeded to try and pay someone to eat the puke (ewwwwwwww) off the towel that it was on.  someone almost did (thank god the singer didn't actually let that happen).

so then came the greatness that is fall out boy.  they played a kick ass "nobody puts baby in the corner" (love that song like no other) as well as sooooo many other songs including a nice xmas tune of "yule shoot your eye out" and "grenade jumper," bringing out chris (who the song is about) to sing along with them.  pete is f-ing crazy.  such amazing energy onstage (they all have great energy but pete just blew me away).  at the end, pete went up on this high thing off to the side of the stage and proceeded to fall back onto the crowd.  i was about a foot from him, which was lovely.  woo.

in the midst of all the fob playing time, i did some crowd surfing (and learned the dangers of crowd surfing with such a rough/bad crowd).  i have a slight bruise by my right eye (edge of my eyebrow area) and a back that hurts like no other.  the back came from surfing and people not bringing me forwards and instead letting me drop (thank you all for that) and i landed flat on my back (ouch) but luckily i got up right away before anyone could trample on me.  another time i landed in someone's arms (happened to be someone who was standing in line behind us, oooo coincidences).

hmmmmmm ok, i think i'll stop there and i applaud you if you actually read all of that.
