Take a Chance on Me Gold Silk of Igen Weyr @ PernWorld

Looks to: Rezia @ Igen Weyr

Description
Dawn of the day kisses the soft polished hide of this little queen. An even, shiny metallic gold shimmers over her well proportioned body, burnished into false 'curls' like hair down her arching neck. She is one who might be held up as the "standard" bearer as far as firelizard physique. Neither too large, nor too small, too bulky nor too thin, she's almost the epitome of average. The playful toss of her head, and twinkle within the whirl of her eyes betrays an inner energy to which many of her kind are also attributed. Playful and fun, she is a light spirit whose movements echo the personality underneath. So very rarely still, the light plays upon her polished hide and the ripple of her delicately thin wingsails. The membranes stretch in a translucent fabric between spars and body. They carry a delicate sunlight gold sheen beneath which a tributary system of veins can be easily traced. Movements tempt one to take a chance on this lady, who knows just where she might lead you.

Egg Name
Thank You For the Music Egg

Egg Description
Brilliant tropical blues wash over the shell in a warm joyous way that make one feel welcome just by looking at it. It's a fairly large egg, perhaps the largest really of the clutch. Though others may have a coloring that look larger, when studied this one clearly wins by size. Silver, gold and blue-white glitter upon the water makes the egg seem to sparkle just so, in that loud nearly obnoxious if it wasn't so actually genuine kind of way. On the wider end of the shell the tropical blue gives way to stark clean white. Angular lines etch into the surface, almost as if there's a small cluster of housing. If so, the occupants would surely have one of the best views in the house.

Credits
This firelizard is inspired by the musical Momma Mia! The egg and hatch name come from songs in the musical. I remember this musical as fun, and quite a surprise since coincidentally I travelled to Greece that very next summer. Wiki does a good synopsis: "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mom_Mia!" The hatchling is vaguely inspired on the younger Sophie searching for her father and then whatever else came to mind at that descriptive moment. Created by Neyuni.
