Mc ribs
So this is what I witnessed tonight. Crazy ass landlord.
On the evening of 5/10/06 around 7p.m. there were 5 people in our
house. We live at 615 N. Congress which is next door to our landlord,
Dave Barowski’s home. One of room mates was on the front porch and the
other 4 people were inside watching television. We saw Dave and
another passenger pull up to his driveway trying to let 3 police cars
pass him in his mini van. He then pulled into his driveway and the
police cars parked behind him. The policemen got out of their cars and
pointed guns at the mini van and told the passengers to put their
hands up. Both of them stuck their hands out the windows. Dave then
got out of the van and walked towards the police men who were telling
him to put his hands up while pointing their guns at him. They told
Dave to get on his knees and he reached for the ground and the cop
proceeded to kick his knee out from underneath him, kick him in the
ribs, and then kneel on his back while another officer jumped on
Dave’s back. The officer got off of his back and then they threw him
onto his other side and jerked him off the ground by one arm. One of
the policemen then escorted him to the police car. The passenger was
also hand cuffed. Dave sat in the back of the car for a while as the
police men talked to each other. The police men then came to a
conclusion and let Dave out of the car. We got the idea that there was
some sort of misunderstanding. I guess Dave was getting a couch out of
one of his previous tenants’ apartments and someone reported a
burglary. We noticed that the police car number was 115. This was the
car of the police officer’s who arrested Dave and used excessive
force. Over the course of the night there were 5 police vehicles
here.
