My Favorite Thing...

Did anyone happen to see the picture-perfect sunset yesterday? The cloud formations were truly breath-taking! The colors were more pastels rather than bold when I saw them. No one paints a sunset like God! One HUGE cloud looked like a grand eagle, wings outspread in mid-flight. Another was diagonal starting low and looked like it went so high! It was like God took a big paintbrush (the kind you would paint a wall with), lightly put it straight down and barely brushed the tips before pulling up. The rest were absolutely gorgeous as well but indescribable. Actually it was all indescribable but this is the best I can do.

Making gingerbread houses was grand fun. I still didn't finish as much as I would have liked though. Brendon was there but he was visiting Michael, not making houses. He said he had to leave so he wouldn't indulge in the sin of gluttony with all that candy lying about. lol. I would like to bring stuff to Daniel's mom's house so his niece and nephews can make them and Daniel will have the opportunity to make his 1st. I'll have to wait until Mommy Jean's done with the baking kit thingy though. If that works out it will be great.
